Home advantage in volleyball – Part 2

I previously posted some findings related to an aspect of home advantage in volleyball. That’s part of a bigger project that will eventually result in published academic papers. Wednesday evening, as part of the IFORS 2021 conference, I presented findings from that work. The conference was virtual, which was good for me since it was in Korea! It also featured pre-recorded sessions, very much like the 2020 AVCA Convention. Like the AVCA, though, I did have to attend. Fortunately, they scheduled a session at a reasonable time for me (9pm) given my being in preseason with the Medaille women.

Below is my session. It’s only about 20 minutes, and hopefully not too dry.

If you want to see the paper it’s based on, you can check that out here. Comments, etc. are very welcome.
