Here&#8217;s another example of that which splits things by position (Courtesy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CsWPIrfoOCB\/\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CsWPIrfoOCB\/<\/a>). Wing Spikers are Outside Hitters for those unfamiliar with that terminology. Also, the table uses DataVolley notation on pass quality. # and + are good passes, while = and \/ not so much. Pass Efficiency in the last column subtracts the bad pass % from the good one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/coachingvb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Passing-Angle-Analysis.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/coachingvb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Passing-Angle-Analysis-1024x581.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-98331\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m not going to wade into <a href=\"https:\/\/coachingvb.com\/teaching-center-line-passing-or-platform-angle\/\">the debate on training center-line\/middle-line vs. outside the body, or whether left is better than right<\/a>. Been there, done that. Instead, let me say one thing that should be pretty obvious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t serve balls straight at the passer&#8217;s platform!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And based on the above figures, especially if they&#8217;re the libero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you can make them take the ball with their hands, though, serve the libero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I wonder why that is.
